IXON joins Food Systems Game Changers Lab to fight foodborne diseases

Food Systems Game Changers Lab, a multi-phase accelerator program organized by EAT, IDEO, Thought for Food and the Rockefeller Foundation, has selected IXON as one of eight startups to join its “Promoting Food Safety & Traceability” cohort. Over the next 12 weeks, we will work together with entrepreneurs, food system experts and organizations around the globe to build impactful, actionable and sustainable solutions for tackling foodborne diseases in support of the United Nations Food Systems Summit 2021.

“According to the World Health Organization, foodborne diseases result in 600 million illnesses and 420,000 deaths in the world every year,” says Felix Cheung, founder and CEO of IXON. “The Food Systems Game Changers Lab empowers us to solve this problem by building unconventional partnerships and providing us with systems thinking toolsets.”
