IXON is one of 20 finalists in Global Maker Challenge

IXON has been selected as one of the finalists in the Mohammed bin Rashid Initiative for Global Prosperity’s Global Maker Challenge. The program offers an opportunity for startups to connect with businesses, governments, UN agencies, philanthropists and academia, wherever they are in the world, to solve real-world problems affecting people's lives by leveraging manufacturing innovations and providing deployable solutions.

The Global Maker Challenge invites world-leading manufacturers and organizations to adopt challenges, provide mentorship, and help tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues. It is an Initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in honour of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Dubai, for his commitment in transforming the United Arab Emirates.

The Global Maker Challenge is vertically divided into four themes: Sustainable and Healthy Food for All, Innovation for Inclusive Trade, Innovation for Peace and Justice, and Climate Change. This year’s program has attracted over 3,400 entries from 148 countries, and IXON is honored to be selected as one of 20 finalists for this year’s challenge (five finalists for each theme). Each of the four challenge winners can receive prizes to the value of up to USD$250,000, including cash prizes and mentorship. The results will be announced on Monday 1 June 2020.

思創食品科技已被選為「穆罕默德·本·拉希德（Mohammed bin Rashid）全球繁榮計劃」下「全球製造者挑戰賽」（Global Maker Challenge）決賽入圍者之一。該計劃旨在為初創企業提供一個與全球企業、政府、聯合國機構、慈善家和學術界聯繫的機會，並通過創新科技和可部署方案為人類解決生活難題。

「全球製造商挑戰賽」邀請世界領先製造商和組織接受挑戰，提供指導，並幫助解決一些世界上最緊迫的問題。這是阿布扎比王儲兼阿聯酋副總統謝赫·穆罕默德·本·扎耶德·納納揚殿下發起的一項舉措，以紀念阿聯酋副總統兼總理謝赫·穆罕默德·本·拉希德·阿爾·馬克圖姆殿下阿聯酋迪拜酋長，以及他對阿聯酋轉型的承諾。
