IXON wins Community Prize in Techstyle for Social Good 2020
Today the Mills Fabrica announces four winners of Techstyle for Social Good 2020, an international competition it co-organized with Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Among them, the IXON team comprising Elton Ho, Co-founder and Chief Project Manager, and Keith Tong, Chief Food Engineer, was awarded the Community Prize.
“We are honoured to have received the Community Prize from this year’s Techstyle for Social Good competition,” says Felix Cheung, Founder and CEO of IXON. “The platform enabled us to showcase our technological achievements in past years and to build relationships with the online community, as is evident from the overwhelming number of likes and comments we received for our video.”
Techstyle for Social Good celebrates techstyle (technology and lifestyle) innovations by honoring creative students and graduates working in the areas of apparel/textiles and agri/food tech (a newly added category for 2020) from around the world. The goal is to encourage young innovators, as well as creative solutions that are making positive impact on society for the greater good. This year the competition saw over 100 submitted projects worldwide from Hong Kong, the US, UK and more.

今天南豐作坊宣布了2020年Techstyle for Social Good比賽中四名獲獎的優勝者,此次比賽是與香港理工大學聯合舉辦的。其中由IXON聯合創始人兼首席項目經理何耀權和首席食品工程師唐俊賢組成的團隊獲得了社交媒體獎。

Techstyle for Social Good通過表彰來自全球的服裝/紡織和農業/食品技術(2020年新增類別)領域富有創造力的學生和畢業生,來慶祝Techstyle(技術和生活方式)創新。目標是鼓勵年輕的創新者,以及為社會帶來更大利益的積極解決方案。今年的比賽共有來自香港、美國、英國等更多國家的100多個項目提交。
