The FoodTech 500, often described as the "Fortune 500 of AgriFoodTech," is the world's first definitive list of global entrepreneurial talent at the intersection of food, technology, and sustainability. This year's list was highly competitive, with over 1,420 applications from more than 70 countries.

The FoodTech 500 uses a comprehensive methodology to evaluate companies, combining three key metrics:

  • Business Size Score: Evaluates growth potential based on employee count, funding stage, total funding raised, and market reach

  • Digital Footprint Score: Measures online presence and impact

  • Sustainability Score: Assesses alignment with Sustainable Development Goals and environmental impact

This year's placement continues IXON's upward trajectory in the rankings since first appearing on the list in 2019:
