How did IXON get its name?

IXON is a food technology company founded by Felix Cheung and Elton Ho, two Hong Kong food scientists turned entrepreneurs. The name — a blended word formed by the last two letters of the founders' first name — was picked because they were the only two people of a bigger team that did not give up and pushed on with the sous-vide project. It sets as a reminder that perseverance and commitment are key to attaining success in the research and development of new technologies.

IXON（思創食品科技）由兩位本地食品科學家，現轉為企業家的張文浩和何耀權所創立。名字是由Felix和Elton（始創人英文名字）的最後兩個字母混合而成，反映他們對低溫烹調研究的堅持和「一起走到最後」的決心。這名字亦告訴我們在科研道路上要取得成功，堅持和毅力是必須條件！
